ep.1 //
STONE OVEN //
In the mountains of BC there is a stone oven that was said to have been built approximately 100 years ago, when the railroad through the mountains was constructed. Josh McFaddin, after hearing the stories, sets out on a trip to connect with his brothers hiking through streams, rivers and mountain trails as he makes his way to where the time-worn oven is said to be. If he has come all this way, a meal is in order.
ep.2 //
DRUM ROLL //
Josh heads to Patricia Beach in search of the illusive and under-appreciated freshwater drum. His goal is to challenge people's perspective on eating this particular fish, by using it to create a unique and delicious meal over the fire, on the shores of Lake Winnipeg.
ep.3 //
WILD TURKEY CONFIT //
Surrounded by endless oaks on the edge of a ranch Josh sets out to find a spring turkey, followed by a riverside supper. He is accom- panied by Chad, a local archery hunter to help in the hunt and partake in the dinner.
